Josh Lambert is a doctoral candidate in English literature at the University of Michigan, and a 2008-2009 fellow at the Center for Jewish History in New York. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, he attended Harvard, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa and having served as a staff writer of the Harvard Lampoon. He has worked as the editor of JBooks.com, an online book review magazine, and contributes regularly to publications including the Forward, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Globe and Mail, the Jewish Reader, and Nextbook.org. He has also published a cookbook, and short stories, for which he has been honored with awards from Harvard and the University of Michigan as well as a residency at the MacDowell Colony.
